Staff

Staffing ratios and qualifications are governed by Statutory Requirements. It is the aim of our Centre to exceed these requirements and the staff are expected to attend professional in-service training or workshops for continued development.

High Professional Staff Ratio

You can be confident that your child is in trained, experienced hands. At Norwest Child Care Centre, we employ well above the standard level of trained and experienced staff.

For children under the age of 12 months, our staffing levels are higher than what you may find at Family Day Care.

Whilst at the centre, you may see any of the following staff:

Staff Training and Development

Norwest Child Care Centre is committed to ongoing staff development and training. Each staff member has a professional and personal development program which is reviewed / renewed every six months during our staff appraisal process.

We actively encourage staff to continue learning and developing, and have succession plans and programs in place. Our current staff turnover rates (17%) are well below the industry average (30-50%).
